Testimonials

There are no words for the growth I experienced while working with Kristen. I learned to trust myself. Coaching with Kristen allowed me to let go of the need to be something or someone else for other people and just be me.

I cannot say enough about Kristen. I tell everyone who will listen! She is non-judgmental, open, and has a loving aura that she brought to every second she spent with me. I am indelibly changed by the 6 months I spent working with Kristen… Worth every penny.
— Roshni Patel
Kristen helped me feel comfortable with myself, my strengths and who I was.

I was trying to figure out where I fit in with a new culture, manager, team, and direction. Kristen taught me to communicate, read rooms better, and learn how to not take things personally.

She taught me how to stop, listen and not immediately jump in to solve the problems that I thought my team had.

“I hit a point in my life where I realized that I needed to do things differently. Kristen helped me clarify exactly what I wanted and helped me shift the way I did my work. It enhanced the impact I had, while using half the time and energy it previously took me.

I was able to create a more powerful experience for my team by utilizing their strengths and talents to make it happen. It gave me more time for
self-care and to grow my family.

Team Building & Leadership Development

Kristen led my team through half-day workshop on DISC behavioral styles and assessments. It was the single most helpful thing I have learned in my entire career. I noticed a shift in my ability to lead my team and I am much more aware of my leadership style. After years of hearing that leaders need to learn how to read a room, DISC helped me to finally understand what that meant and how to do it.
— Amy Wigler, VP, Multiplatform Marketing & Content. PBS
The “Leveraging Your Strengths” team session felt like it gave us all a new superpower to understand how and why we do certain things.

It helped us with the clarity to know exactly what we are great at doing and empowered us to better manage and navigate our teams.

It allowed people to see themselves in the conversation and activities, in ways that coaching from their managers had not accomplished. It created a whole new level of self-awareness.”
— Colby Tyner, Senior VP of Programming, Urban One
“Kristen facilitated a session on Inclusive Leadership for my staff, and the feedback was remarkable. I had a team that spanned different generational and cultural backgrounds, and Kristen found a way to connect with each person flawlessly.

Even members of the team who had previously not been open to learning about inclusion opportunities are now passionate and wanting more!

Kristen inspires confidence and cultivates a learning environment that promotes internal reflection, self actualization and personal growth.”
— Jonathon Adler SVP. Human Resources, Heart of Florida United Way
Kristen’s “Inclusive Leadership” presentation at the Town Hall was an unqualified success. Many commentators remarked that she was awesome! They were astonished with her ability to actively engage a virtual audience to the point of non-stop participation. She connected with each person flawlessly.

Kristen’s presentation and style was extremely powerful, moving and enabled many to see and understand their own biases through the exercises presented.

Without a doubt, she facilitated a learning session that promoted internal reflection. Her presentation taught and empowered us to re-frame our approach to leadership.”
— Craig Conklin Associate Director, US Dept. of Homeland Security

Grief & Loss Work

During the height of the COVID-19 epidemic in NY, the essential workers in my agency were experiencing the death of clients and family members at exponential rates.

Because they work in the human service industry, there is little time to process their own feelings and emotions.

Kristen delivered a webinar that enabled them talk, decompress, feel connected to other people’s experiences, and walk away empowered and uplifted.

They left with relevant tips to help them continue to persevere. She was also able to soothingly speak to the issues around inclusion and disparities that were impacting many of their lives.
— Mark Jennings, Associate Executive Director, Project Find
Kristen helps you feel that everything is ok. When the pandemic started, it was very difficult to separate my work and my personal life. I was holding everything in and trying not to overwhelm anyone with what I was going through. I thought that if I talked about my emotions, or the impact of losing a patient, I would seem weak.

Kristen helps you see that as humans, we need to talk. She helped me feel like it was okay to talk about my struggles and gave me the confidence to feel like everything was going to be ok.

When I talk to Kristen, I want to cry, not because she makes me sad, but because she makes me feel good about the world and feel that things are
ok. People need Kristen.
— Dr. Karen Beydoun, Infectious Disease Doctor
“Kristen’s Coping With Grief and Loss session was a safe space for people, at different stages of their grief journey, to feel safe in an extremely supportive community. I was in a big emotional place and yet I remember everything I learned during that hour and a half.

It is unique to create a space where people can be whole in their grief, feel what they are feeling and think what they are thinking, and be in community with others at the same time. I am profoundly grateful to Kristen for sharing her gifts with me and with the world.”
